Take Our Freedom
6 March 1836 - Against the imposing Alamo backdrop,
Colonel David Crockett and his dwindling band of courageous Texan allies,
tenaciously defend their position against the charging Mexican forces
of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. rather than yield their
ground or their freedom, the hopelessly outnumbered Americans heroically
fought to the last man. Their sacrifice inspired an entire nation
and became the battle cry for Texas Independance
