by
Brian Palmer
At Senlac Hill near Hastings, William's, Duke of Normandy, in pursuit of his clam to the English Throne met Harold, King of England in battle. Throughout the day the Norman Knights continually threw themselves against the Anglo-Saxon Phalanx. The centre was held steady by Elite House Carles, but by nightfall Harold was dead and the Anglo-Saxon resistance had collapsed.
