The Judge Advocate General, Colonel John Launance, examines British
Major John Andre, 1780. Since the spring of 1779, he had been looking
for an American source-to be will paid, of course-to pass information
to him that just might end this foolish colonial revolt against the
mighty British Empire. By June 1780, he struck pay-dirt: the American
commander (General, Benedict Arnold) of West Point, the rebel stronghold
on the Hudson River, wanted to play the dangerous game.
