B-17s of the 100th Bomb Group come under attack by FW-190's of JG-1. Arriving in the nick of time, the P-47's of the 56th Fighter Group swoop down upon the attacking German fighters. Here, Col. Hub Zemke leads his P-47 down upon the FW of Oblt Wolfgang Kretschmer's FW-190.
